Campus Ministry

Ellesmere has many activities and opportunities for worship during the week, in order to allow SFU students, staff and faculty to participate.

The church doubles as an art gallery with changing exhibits, which is free and open to the public during church office hours.  For those looking for a spiritual space during the week, you might be interested in coming to walk the labyrinth.  On Tuesday, our communion service is just before the lunch hour, to allow anyone who is interested to attend.

We also welcome everyone to attend our community potlucks, talks, and art events, such as Thus Says the Mountain.  More information on these events will be posted on our homepage and is available at Events.

Ellesmere United Church made the decision to sell the old building on Capitol Hill and move up the mountain so that we would be present for the university community.  The campus is important to our congregation, and we continue to explore ways to welcome you.
